Macarla was born in Brisbane, Australia. She is a qualified yoga teacher and has a passion for holistic medicine and massage. She has a love of travel and has spent time in South East Asia and South America, and plans to travel and live abroad for the next several years. At home she painted and dabbled in photography, holding gallery exhibits in her home town. She has also spent over a decade working in Event Management and Hospitality.
